# Set embed chat configuration
`PUT https://octopus.livepush.io/streams/{stream_id}/embed/chat_config`
Configures the chat panel shown alongside the embedded player.

Requires a token with write access to the stream (`CanWriteStreams`).

### Request body

`application/json` (required)

- `isEnabled` (boolean) — Whether chat is shown at all.
- `readonly` (boolean) — When true, viewers can read chat but not post.
- `adminLoginName` (string) — Moderator login name for the embedded chat.
- `adminLoginPassword` (string) — Moderator password. Write-only — never returned by the API.
- `greetingText` (string) — Message shown to viewers when they join the chat.
- `bannedWords` (string) — Comma-separated list of words filtered out of chat.
