# Toggle direct links for the embed
`POST https://octopus.livepush.io/streams/{stream_id}/embed/use_direct_links_for_embed`
Switches the embed to play from the direct output URL rather than the managed player source.

Requires a token with write access to the stream (`CanWriteStreams`).
