# Move a video into a folder
`PUT https://octopus.livepush.io/streams/{stream_id}/videos/{video_id}/set_group/{group_id}`
Files the video under a video folder. A video belongs to at most one folder, so this moves it rather than adding a second membership.

Video folders appear as `resource_group` in the URL and as `resourceGroup` on the video object — the original internal name, kept for compatibility.

Requires a token with the `streams.videos.write` scope.
- **Tag:** Videos
- **Operation ID:** `moveVideoToFolder`
- **Authentication:** Bearer token required

### Path parameters

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `stream_id` | string | yes | Stream identifier. These handlers resolve the video by videoid scoped to the authenticated account and never read this value, which is why the dashboard passes the literal me. Any value routes correctly. |
| `video_id` | string | yes | Unique identifier of the video. |
| `group_id` | string | yes | Unique identifier of the video folder. |

### Example request

```bash
curl -X PUT 'https://octopus.livepush.io/streams/me/videos/vd_xxxxxxxxxxxx/set_group/grp_xxxxxxxxxxxx' \
  -H 'Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_TOKEN'
```
